The MONA is a dedicated orthopedic open MRI system, with a 300 mm opening that focuses on patients with musculoskeletal issues. MONA is an open MRI system with a field strength of 0.2T, which provides a more affordable MRI choice with lower maintenance cost. The small footprint and open architecture of the MRI system requires a much smaller site, a more flexible site planning for the system installation with the requisite shielded room size of 4×4 m only. MONA also has lower operational, service, and maintenance costs.
