Shanghai, 5 Nov 2020 – The 3rd China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held in National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) as scheduled despite the global coronavirus pandemic. Time Medical participated in the Expo with great success.

CIIE is the largest medical trade show during this pandemic year. This is the third consecutive year for Time Medical to participate in CIIE, with a 50% larger booth space and more products to exhibit, which included dedicated MRI systems for neonatal, breast and brain imaging, mobile DR diagnostic system for pandemic prevention, and cost-effective innovative open MRI system for private hospitals.

Time Medical hosted a number of trade delegations which includes trade delegates from National Health Commission of China together with Zong Ming, Vice Mayor of Shanghai, Shanghai Lin-Gang Special Zone delegates led by Zhu Zhisong, Executive Director of Shanghai Free Trade Zone Lin-gang Administration, Hainan delegates led by Han Shengjian, Director of Hainan Provincial Bureau of International Economic Development, and Taizhou delegates led by Zhang Yulin, Vice Mayor of Taizhou and other government representatives.

Time Medical also hosted Consul General from British Consulate General in Shanghai, and Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya embassy. Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya showed great interest in Time Medical’s mobile diagnostic platform and breast MRI system.

Time Medical held a number of on-site and cloud-based contract signing ceremonies. Together with Postal Savings Bank of China Taizhou branch, TM launched pilot program of mobile medical diagnostic service in residential community using the largest Postal Saving Bank network of 40,000 branches as well as TM mobile imaging platform. TM also signed strategic collaboration agreement with NTW Group of Russia for sales and marketing TM’s products in Russia. Furthermore, TM has contracted with Biomass of Poland for exporting 12 Mobile MRI systems to the Polish market in the next two years.

Time Medical also held a series of live promotion events specifically for veterinary market. On November 7th, a live broadcast show held by Eric Zhao, General Manager of Time Medical Veterinary Department, introduced Time Medical Vet MRI products and the show is broadcast directly in China TV network.

During the CIIE Expo (November 5th to 10th), Time Medical exhibited 6 major MRI products, which was twice the number of products shown last year. With TM sales teams’ enthusiasm and persistence, TM has completed 160 MoU order with a booking value of US$83.2 million. Among which, 23 of which were for mobile DR and 137 were for MRI, including 32 for Neonatal MRI, 56 for 1.5T breast MRI and whole-body MRI, and 34 for PICA MRI.

To conclude, Time Medical made a great trade show in CIIE. TM not only obtained MoU orders from over hundred domestic hospitals, but also received orders from international markets including Poland, Russia, South Africa, Togo, Argentina, Indonesia, and other countries.  From Shanghai, TM has created a resonance in the medical diagnostic industry.
